Instrukcje
- Soak black-eyed peas overnight.
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.

- Add smoked ham hock and soaked black-eyed peas.
- Pour in water and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
- Add rice, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Cover and cook for an additional 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
- Remove the ham hock, shred the meat, and return it to the pot.
- Serve hot.
