Instrukcje
- Rinse the black eyed peas under cold water.

- If using, add ham hock or smoked sausage.
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 1 hour or until peas are tender.
- Remove the ham hock, shred the meat, and return it to the pot if desired.
- Serve warm.
