Instrukcje
- Drain and rinse the soaked beans.
- In a large pot, sauté the onion, carrots, and celery until soft.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the ham hocks, beans, chicken broth, and bay leaf.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Remove ham hocks and shred the meat.
- Return the meat to the pot and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot.
