A plant-based alternative for a Thanksgiving turkey made with tofu.

- 1 block of firm tofu (14 oz)
- 2 cups of vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon of dried rosemary
- 1/4 cup of nutritional yeast
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs
Instrukcje
- Press the tofu to remove excess water.
- Crumble the tofu into a bowl.
- Add vegetable broth, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, olive oil, thyme, rosemary, and nutritional yeast. Mix well.
- Stir in breadcrumbs until combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the tofu loaf in a baking dish.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.

- Can be made a day ahead and reheated.
