- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder

- 1 tablespoon rosemary
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups diced vegetables (carrots, celery, onion)
Instrukcje
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Remove the turkey giblets and rinse the turkey inside and out.
- Pat the turkey dry with paper towels.
- Rub the softened butter all over the turkey.
- Season the turkey with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and rosemary.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan breast side up.
- Add chicken broth and diced vegetables to the bottom of the pan.
- Cover the turkey with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to brown the skin.
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
