Instrukcje
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Rub the turkey with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Place the onion, carrots, and celery inside the turkey cavity.
- Sprinkle thyme, rosemary, and garlic powder over the turkey.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and add chicken broth.
- Cover the turkey with aluminum foil.
- Roast for 2.5 to 3 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to brown the skin.
- Check for doneness with a meat thermometer (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
- Let the turkey rest for 20-30 minutes before carving.
