A delicious Thanksgiving recipe for roasted turkey with herbs.

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 onion, quartered
- 4 cups chicken broth
Instrukcje
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Rinse the turkey and pat dry.
- In a bowl, mix butter, salt, pepper, rosemary, and thyme.
- Rub the herb mixture under the skin and all over the turkey.
- Stuff the cavity with onion.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth around it.
- Cover with foil and roast for 2.5 to 3 hours.
- Remove foil and roast for an additional 30-45 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it rest for 20 minutes before carving.
