- 6 to 8 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instrukcje
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add butter and mix until crumbly.
- Stir in ice water, a tablespoon at a time, until dough forms.
- Divide dough into two balls, wrap in plastic, and chill for 4 hours or overnight.
- Roll out one ball on a floured surface to fit your pie pan.
- Place the rolled dough in the pie pan.
- In another bowl, mix apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
- Fill the crust with the apple mixture and dot with butter.
- Roll out the second dough ball and place it over the apples.
- Seal the edges and cut slits in the top crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 35 to 45 minutes more.
- Cool before serving.
