Instrukcje

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Stir in ice water, a tablespoon at a time, until dough forms.
  5. Divide dough into two balls, wrap in plastic, and chill for 4 hours or overnight.
  6. Roll out one ball on a floured surface to fit your pie pan.
  7. Place the rolled dough in the pie pan.
  8. In another bowl, mix apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  9. Fill the crust with the apple mixture and dot with butter.
  10. Roll out the second dough ball and place it over the apples.
  11. Seal the edges and cut slits in the top crust.
  12. Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 35 to 45 minutes more.
  13. Cool before serving.
