  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cut into cubes
  • 3 tablespoons baking soda
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Coarse sea salt for topping

Instrukcje

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour and salt, then knead the dough until smooth.
  3. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
  5. Divide the dough into small pieces and flatten each piece.
  6. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center and fold the dough over it.
  7. Shape each pretzel and set aside.
  8. Boil water with baking soda, then dip each pretzel for 30 seconds.
  9. Place pretzels on a baking sheet, brush with egg, and sprinkle with sea salt.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
