- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 cups seafood stock
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp hot sauce
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups okra, sliced
- Cooked rice for serving
Instrukcje
- Make a roux by combining oil and flour in a pot over medium heat. Stir until it turns dark brown.
- Add onions, bell pepper, celery, and garlic. Cook until softened.
- Add sausage and cook for a few minutes.
- Stir in seafood stock, bay leaves, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, thyme, and oregano.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Add shrimp, crab, oysters, and okra. Cook for an additional 10 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over cooked rice.
