Instrukcje
- Soak black-eyed peas overnight.
- Drain and rinse peas.
- In a pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Sauté until soft.
- Add peas, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Stir in cooked rice and green onions.
- Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve hot.
