Instrukcje

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla to the dry ingredients.
  5. Mix until well combined.
  6. Stir in boiling water until the batter is smooth.
  7. Pour the batter into prepared pans.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool the cakes in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove and cool completely on wire racks.
  10. For the frosting, combine evaporated milk, sugar, and butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  11. Stir until the mixture thickens, then add egg yolks and vanilla.
  12. Remove from heat and stir in coconut and pecans.
  13. Spread frosting between the layers and on top of the cake.
