Instrukcje
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Add buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla to the dry ingredients.
- Mix until well combined.
- Stir in boiling water until the batter is smooth.
- Pour the batter into prepared pans.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the cakes in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove and cool completely on wire racks.
- For the frosting, combine evaporated milk, sugar, and butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir until the mixture thickens, then add egg yolks and vanilla.
- Remove from heat and stir in coconut and pecans.
- Spread frosting between the layers and on top of the cake.
