- 1 lb Caramel Malt
- 1 oz Hallertau Hops
- 1 oz Saaz Hops
- 1 packet of Ale Yeast
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Nutmeg
- Water to 5 gallons
Instrukcje
- Heat 3 gallons of water to 165°F.
- Add the malt and steep for 30 minutes.
- Remove the grains and bring the liquid to a boil.
- Add hops and boil for 60 minutes.
- Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Cool the wort rapidly.
- Add enough water to reach 5 gallons in the fermenter.
- Pitch the yeast and seal the fermenter.
- Ferment for 2 weeks at 68°F.
- Bottle and carbonate for 2 weeks before serving.
