A rich and creamy bisque featuring crab and shrimp.

- 1 lb crab meat
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 cup carrots, chopped
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 4 cups seafood stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instrukcje
- Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat.
- Add onion, garlic, celery, and carrots. Sauté until soft.
- Pour in white wine and cook until reduced by half.
- Add seafood stock and thyme. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Stir in crab and shrimp. Cook until shrimp are pink.
- Blend the mixture until smooth.
- Return to heat and add heavy cream. Stir well.
- Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
