  • 150g breadcrumbs
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 2 tsp mixed spice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • 100ml milk
  • 50ml brandy

Instrukcje

  1. Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
  2. In a large bowl, mix all the dried fruits, nuts, breadcrumbs, sugar, and spices.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, and brandy together.
  4. Combine both mixtures and stir well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased pudding basin.
  6. Cover with parchment paper and foil, securing with string.
  7. Place the basin in a pot of boiling water, ensuring the water reaches halfway up the sides.
  8. Steam for 2 hours, checking water levels occasionally.
  9. Allow to cool and store for a few days before serving.
