Instrukcje

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  4. Carefully stir in boiling water. The batter will be thin.
  5. Pour batter into greased cake pans.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Check with a toothpick.
  7. Cool cakes in pans for 10 minutes, then remove to wire racks to cool completely.
  8. Once cooled, slice each cake in half horizontally.
  9. Place one layer on a serving plate. Spread with whipped cream and cherries. Repeat layers.
  10. Top with the final layer and cover the cake with whipped cream.
  11. Garnish with chocolate shavings and cherries.
